Communications Strategy Informed by Journalistic Understanding

I started my career as a journalist, writing real-life features for national magazines and newspapers - cutting my teeth on building narratives, and crafting compelling stories through building relationships with both the people the stories featured and with media publishers.

At the risk of revealing my age, this was also at the time where social media was just starting to creep out of university campuses, and I worked to convince my editors that this new-fangled tech was a place where news would break and stories could be found.

Experienced Consultant for Agencies and In-house Teams

I am experienced in juggling the needs of varied clients, having worked for PR and social media agencies and in-house at both global enterprise businesses and fast-paced scale-ups to connect customer journeys across PR, Social Media, Content and Digital Marketing.

I am also a mum to two fabulously inquisitive girls, and a qualified wedding Celebrant - so I’m not afraid of answering questions, wearing multiple hats and doing things differently.
